Golden Nectar farm in Windsor, California

On my recent trip to Northern California I was lucky enough to be able to visit the Golden Nectar Farm in Windsor, California. This place was a dream come true for me. They had so many varieties of fruit trees, berries and vegetables it was dizzying. If you want to see a few more of my favorite shots visit my art site blog, alesi art.

Thanks to Randy for making this happen, and Tammy for driving me out there, and of course Golden Nectar Farm for being so gracious and showing me around.

Road Trip West part 2

I have taken all these images so I feel the need to show them. I passed this amazing 57' Chevy in Santa Monica while heading to the beach. I had to hang out the window to get this shot. The driver probably thought I was nuts.

The other photos chronicle the moments of driving and road trips that usually pass us without thought, but say so much. These are the moments that get me. -brian

Road Trip West

My friend Scott and I just drove from Austin to L.A. I am out here working on a new body of work. The road is a wonderfully relaxing place for me. Nothing to do but drive, drive, drive. Most of my road trip photos are taken while still in the car trucking down the highway. But when a gorgeous sunset presents itself, you have to pull over and enjoy the moment. Here are two for today. Thanks Scott, you are a perfect travel partner. - brian

miami beach weekend

My good friend John suggested we meet up in Miami Beach for a quick holiday this past weekend. It was the first time that either of us had been there. I immediately fell in love with the art deco architecture and the swaying palm trees. I could have easily spent a week there just on a photo expedition.

The Miami Beach area had a very foreign feel to me. Perhaps it was the hours spent lingering over meals or the many visiting people I saw all over town. It certainly seemed unique for a u.s. city. Here are some of the things I noticed while there. –brian

Ben White carnival

Here are three new ones in the on-going parking lot carnival series. These are from the carnival that has been happening for the past week or so on Ben White. My dream day would most certainly involve photography and rides. -brian
