SXSW 2008 Austin Texas

It was a crazy and sleepless SXSW this year. Both Stella and I got gigs shooting for SXSWorld magazine. We covered the interactive, film and music festivals and had a blast. Here are some of our favorite shots from the music portion of the festival.

Well, here is the latest painting. I guess this makes me officially obsessed with pyracantha berries. Getting ready for a show in the fall with David Leonard at the Davis Gallery. More about that when I know the details.

Leticia and Simon's Barr Mansion wedding

March 8th at the Barr Mansion was a beautiful day for a wedding. With hot pink flowers for the bridesmaids and Texas belt buckles for the guys, they did it in style.

Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo

My friend Jeff was in town this past weekend and we went out to experience a little bit of Texas at the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo. If you have the time, I recommend heading over to the midway for some fun rides, games and cotton candy. - brian
